Turn your headphones/speakers into a mic

Ok, this is what i do, most people probably know this, but im gonna write it anyway.

Basicly, instead of plugging your headphones/speakers into the sound jakk, plug it into the microphone slot.
Open windows sound recorder and test it out.

The quality isnt half bad depending on the headphone quality and this works on msn.
