Whys this useful?
+ You can set up your email address to forward select messages to your phone. Such as myspace alerts.
# If you wanted to forward myspace alerts to your phone you would do the following: Settings>Filter>Create New Filter>Under the “has the word” put Myspace, Inc.> Click next step> and under forward it to put your cell phones email. make sure to check the box also> Click create filter and your done!
+ You can send a quick message to many friends from your PC.
o You can also send an email via text messaging. Just put in the email address instead of a phone number. Great for getting those pictures onto your pc! You can send the picture to your PC and then forward it to all your friends cell phones. This way you only pay to send 1 picture instead of 1 picture per friend.

+ 4654 with the screen name then a colon and then your message to send a message to a buddy. For instance ‘AIMDude: I’m on my cell phone!’ and it will send a text message to AIMDude saying I’m on my cell phone

o Google calendar has a built in feature to send you a text message X amount of minutes before an event you create happens. Great for remembering those important dates.
